Your Image

Find an image appropriate for your story and insert it.  Make sure it's copyright free.  You can use an Google Image search for that and filter on 'Usage Rights' chosing an image that is labeled for reuse.

This is the body of your report.  Make sure you cover the how and the why parts of your story.  Be honest about where you got the information from and...


Stick to the 3 C's of news writing:


Clear - Tell the story as if you were telling just one person, don't use long words            if a short one will do the job

Concise - Stick to the point

Correct - Make sure the facts are correct as well as grammar and punctuation


Use interesting vocabulary, good openers and time connectives.  You could add a quote from an eye-witness or expert in this section using speech marks.

Change the colour of text using X-Ray Goggles by activating them, then hovering your mouse over the text you want to change. Press the letter 'c' and the space bar at the same time. Then find the 'color' item and change it to a different one
